Division Contest on March 28

Have you logged in to Youtube for the Division B & D contest? I would like to comment that I had the best seat in the house for the contest.  The Toastmaster and the speakers were front and center!!  I did not have to worry about audience distractions and I had a front row seat.  I think Ann, Christine and the contestants did a great job with the Tall Tales!    No problem with parking, finding the room, or finding a seat.  I know that at least a dozen of us got to watch as pure audience.  What a great event.  I will leave this post know and head back for the International Contest!! Congratulations to Calvin Custard and Marty Ertz International Contest was excellent.  Congratulations to Randy Prier and Ashley Banaszek

The Competitive Speakers Group regular meeting on Wednesday, March 18th and March 25th, will host the  practice sessions. The sessions will start at 7:00pm and end at 9:00pm.   To join the Zoom Meeting click on this link:  https://zoom.us/j/ 128287954 To join the meeting by phone dial   +1 346 248 7799 and enter Meeting ID: 128 287 954 If you have not downloaded the zoom app or program it will lead you through the steps.  You can use your computer, smartphone, or tablet to participate in the meeting. We would like to make this petition to whq.  Dear TI Educational Services During this COVID-19 pandemic, as Toastmaster events are getting cancelled and meetings are transitioning to online only, we as club coaches find ourselves in a difficult position to complete our duties for clubs to get DCP credit by the June 2020 deadline. This outbreak has already started to impact the economy and many existing and potential members are having trouble in paying their dues. With cancellation of big events such as the District Conferences, Division and District speech contests among others, it is difficult to continue membership building efforts right now.  For many of us advanced members, club coaching is our only unfinished requirement for legacy DTM. Hence we humbly request for an extension to the timeline for completing the legacy program requirements, especially club coaching, by at least 6 months. Please allow us the time to settle into this 'new normal' that we ho...
I am writing to share our experience with online meetings. We have created this page on our club website: https://281.toastmastersclubs. org/Online-Meetings.html   The below email goes over some of our early lessons learned. There is also a link to our meeting from last night as an example of a club using Zoom for online meetings. If I can be of assistance as you or your club members are trying to use online meetings, please let me know. Tom Colling
